We adore Kelly! Kelly cared for our infant son this summer. We interviewed 15 caregivers. Kelly was our last interview. The caregivers we interviewed before Kelly were very qualified. We just never got that gut feeling that any of them were the perfect fit. When we interviewed Kelly, we instantly had that feeling. She was at ease while interacting with our son during the interview and open and honest with her answers. She is experienced, genuine, polite, and respectful. She was very creative and came up with games and activities that not only entertained our son but aided in his development. I credit Kelly for our son's advanced motor skills. I am a supporter of unstructured, imaginative play and Kelly interacted with our son in this way. She helped transition him to solid foods. She strictly adhered to our son's schedule, which was very important to us. Most importantly, our son was happy every day. When she would arrive in the morning his face would light up and he would crawl to greet her. When I would return from work, he always had a smile on his face. As a working mother for the first time, this put my mind at ease. She was more than willing to do additional tasks I asked of her, such as light housework or meal preparation. She was very flexible. My husband was required to travel out of town on very short notice. Kelly put in extra hours to help me out. She took our son to the museum, the park, or played with him in the backyard. I was very overwhelmed with returning to work and leaving him with a caregiver. Every day, Kelly sent text messages and photos, which I absolutely loved. It was a way for me to stay connected to my son during the day when I wasn't able to be at home. Before she left, she gave us a CD of the pictures she had taken over the summer. I cannot say enough good things about Kelly. She would be of value to any family that hired her. Best wishes in your future endeavors, Kelly. We really miss you!
