I have worked three full summers as a Teacher's Assistant at an Early Childhood Development Center. During this time I cared for children ages 2 - 9 and worked alongside lead teachers to provide project based and recreational activities. For three summers I volunteered for one week at a camp in Dallas, Texas. This camp primarily focused on children with certain disabilities. During those weeks I worked one- on-one with children who had Spina Bifida. Last May I graduated from Indiana University. Prior to graduation I have worked for several families and daycare facilities throughout college. Come June 12th, I will have completed my first year of teaching in a local public school district. Through Care.com I was able to nanny for a wonderful family last summer and hope to have the same luck for this coming summer!
