Daily activities in our home will include circle/discussion time, story time, learning centers (blocks, fine motor, reading/literacy, science), open ended art in the dedicated art studio, outdoor exploration, and afternoon cooking and science. I follow a philosophy which emphasizes child-directed learning, creativity and critical thinking, through long lasting projects and interesting art media. We have a entire room converted to an art studio in our home.

My background is one rich in early childhood development. I have experience teaching preschoolers and toddlers alike. My father is a ceramist. My mother started and ran many successful preschools in the past. I have a BA Human Development as well as a BS in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego.

This is a wonderful option for a family looking for another loving family to provide lots of learning and social interactions.
