My experience caring for children as a career began at the age of 15 in 1991. After school I was an assistant at a large (up to 14 children) licensed family child care home. I became a licensed family child care provider in 1994, license # 013412564. I operated my business full time in Castro Valley for over 10 years while caring generally for six long-term children of all ages. I transported children to school and after school activities, we went on weekly day trips to the local parks, lakes, ice cream and donuts factories and the kids always loved our weekly trip to the grocery store. After moving into a smaller home in liver more I had no other choice but to put my business on hold for a while. I later became a licensed real estate sales person and after a year or so of it knew i made a mistake so I am now returning to what i should have never quit, child care. I am licensed again so my finger prints.
