I have worked as a babysitter since I was about 16 years old. I used to watch my neighbors two girls since they were infants up until they were about 5. The one child had epilepsy, so I had to take extra safety precautions when going to the park. (Example: she had to wear a helmet before climbing on anything). I also worked for the YMCA as an aftercare instructor for kids between grades 4th through 8th for a year. I also worked at summer camp as a counselor for kids between the ages of 8 and 11. I just finished college with a major in English and a minor in Education, where I had to complete 20 hours inside a 5th grade classroom, aiding the kids on their school work.
