I have extensive experience caring for youth from 0 months-18 years of age. I have been BLS and First Aid Certified for 8 years. I began babysitting at age 13 and continued to do so for approximately 6 years. I worked at a state licensed day care (Children's Village) for one year while attending college. I began working with Girls Incorporated of Southwestern CT at age 16 beginning as a youth program counselor and continued to work there for 12 years ending as a Program Director. I have worked hands on with children of all ages, developed and implemented trainings for care givers in mandated reporting and After School Program Ethics, as well as managed to all of the state licensing requirements for Girls Inc. of SWCT. I have experience assisting with homework of all ages, as well as assistance with college applications for high school students. I also managed a comprehensive dance program for 10 years where I taught tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop, as well as implemented a complete year end recital.

I was recently laid off from Girls Inc. of SWCT and decided to pursue my passion for guiding youth and become a full time nanny. I have true enthusiasm working with children and love to empower them to be whatever they want to be, and help them achieve their dreams. I feel that working as a nanny or babysitter will allow me the flexibility I need to pursue my schooling while still enabling me to continue my passion for empowering children. I am a creative, caring, and dedicated individual that is looking for the perfect opportunity to work closely with a family that needs my assistance.
