I truly enjoy watching children learn, grow, and discover. Whether it's rolling over for the first time, first steps, or learning to write their name for the first time, include the occasional backwards letter! I love all the exciting new events of everyday. I try to encourage learning, compassion, patience, and honesty through positive reinforcement, as well as example. I try to encourage and involve children in everything possible to provide fun learning opportunities every day.

I understand the importance of consistency with schedule and believe communication between parent and caregiver is very important. I enjoy being organized and helping a family to run smoothly.

I am very flexible with my hours. I am willing to stay late, occasional weekend and evening hours, as well as travel. I have experience with making homemade baby food and meals, with a focus on healthy options. I have experience with severe infant/toddler allergies including dairy, egg, nut, and understand the importance of safety with these issues. I have experience with multiple infants in sleep training to encourage healthy, consistent nap and sleep schedules. I have watched their personalities really blossom when well rested and alert (as well as their parents!). I love finding fun age appropriate educational activities and crafts, reading, and getting outdoors to keep both their minds and bodies busy. I have experience teaching infant sign language and believe it can be an amazing early communication tool that really jump starts their speech and vocabulary. I enjoy being outdoors. Whether it be a trip to the park, zoo, or just going for a walk and exploring their world.

My availability is listed as August, but I am available sooner possibly. I am currently with a wonderful family full-time and have been blessed to be a part of their lives for almost 3 years now. I have been caring for a smart and adorable little man since he was 3 months old. Due to an out of state job, I will not be able to continue with them. I would love to find a family that I can bond with and be a part of as I am currently.
