Children are a pleasure to me! I am a mom of 19-month-old boy and love every minute of it! I started out a babysitter in my young teenage years and loved it. It made me feel very responsible and I was proud to say I had a job at age 14. I also grew such a strong bond with the kids, it was great!
I have watched children from infant to about any age throughout the time I was a babysitter. I was a pro at changing diapers, feedings, etc. I guess practicing with my baby dolls as a little girl gave me such thrive to do it for real one day.
I started babysitting at age 14 and around age 16 I worked in a daycare close to home. Working at a daycare was a lot of fun! I got to work with all age groups, from newborn- preschoolers. I must say that I loved having a routine for children to follow each day. I loved planning creative, daily activities and taking field trips outside. It was an awesome experience!
Now I am a mom! I absolutely love my job. It is one of the best feelings in the world. My son Thomas and I have so much fun together. Indoor/outdoor fun, whatever it is! Most enjoying is teaching and watching him grow. It all happens way to fast. Hope I can share with you!
