I have been a babysitter/nanny for over the past five years now. I recently graduated from North Central College in Naperville last November. I have been a babysitter/nanny for over the past five years now. I recently graduated from North Central College in Naperville last November. As far as my experience, I worked for an after-school program at a private school (ages 4 to 13), a child development lab/preschool (ages 2 to 5), Children's World for a couple months (infants), and from there, I began to sit for two wonderful families on occasion, both with three children.
One family had a 6-year-old boy, almost 4-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old girl. The other family had a 6-year-old boy and twin 10-month-old girls. I did start watching the twins once they turned 2 months old.
I had been babysitting with these families on occasion for a little over a year, but one of them moved out of state and the other no longer needed help.
In June 2009, I began sitting for another family part time during the week and they had a 4-year-old boy, 2-year-old boy, and a newborn, but due to conflicting schedules that had ended in March 2010.
From there I have watched a wonderful 1-year-old girl as of last year, but started a recent office job full time earlier this year. Unfortunately, the business world is not for me and I would love to continue to watch children as I was doing before, so I am looking to work full time for the right family.
I am a very fun, caring, and dependable person. I love playing outside, reading books, coloring, doing crafts, playing the Wii, etc. I love being around kids, especially the little ones. I have plenty of experience with diaper changing, feeding, and putting kids down for a nap or to bed. I love to help kids learn and watch them grow.
It is rewarding to see that you have helped a child learn their ABC's or helped them take their first step. I am also more than willing to help with household chores or errands, and am CPR and First Aid certified. Thank you for reading!
