I have more than 10 years of experience in child care. I started my career in my native country, Venezuela, working full-time in day cares and babysitting nights and weekends. I worked as a pediatrician's assistant with children between ages 0 and 10 years old. I lived in Spain for four years before moving to the United States. While in Spain I babysat full-time a couple's two children, a 3-month-old boy and 5-year-old girl, for three and a half years. In addition to them, I also babysat my 8-year-old nephew during the afternoons and weekends. I am the mother of a 19-year-old girl, whom I raised.
In the United States I have been babysitting a girl who I began taking care of nights and weekends sporadically when she was a baby. Currently she is three and a half years old, and I babysit her full-time Monday thru Friday. I have had a wonderful three year experience with her.
The activities that I do with her are the following: transportation to and from school, preparation and supervision of her meals, personal hygiene (baths, hair, nails, etc.) games, hands-on activities, dance, art, reading, physical activities such as swimming, beach, extracurricular activities, laundry, maintenance of her belongings (clothes, room, toys, etc...), pediatrician appointments, visits with her friends, parties, errands, grocery shopping, and vacation assistance.
I am very well qualified for this job as I have earned a technical degree in child care and emergency assistance in Venezuela. In addition to this, I also possess a law degree from the St. Mary University in Caracas (Venezuela) I am a very humble, cult, and polite grown woman. In my 50s, I am a very experienced, responsible, honest, sweet, passionate, and punctual individual who has nothing but love and vocation for children.
I am available part-time, nights, and weekends. Nevertheless I am open to listen to full time offers. I have a preference for children between 0-2 years old.
