I also have experience caring for children of a variety of ages, from newborns to teenagers. I am especially passionate about providing care for infants and young children. I truly enjoy the experiences.

I am currently working in a daycare setting, and have cared for children from newborn to age five. I am presently the Assistant Teacher in a toddler room, servicing children ages 18-24 months. We focus on social skills, routines, learning through play, some potty training, and interaction through a variety of activities. I prepare meals and put children down for naps. We do crafts daily, incorporating fine motor skills. I make sure to engage children in gross motor activities as well, from walks to playground and gym time. We also do musical movement, finger plays, sing songs, and circle time activities. I've also been an Assistant Teacher for preschoolers, ages 3-4, and have subbed in room with children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

I am looking for a more personal working relationship with a family that I can provide care for for many years to come! I believe my skills and training will make me a caregiver that is not only competent and nurturing, but who can also provide educational opportunities daily.
