My senior year I volunteered in my local preschool, I also worked at the after school program at my local elementary. After I graduated I worked part time at a different childcare after school program while I attended college. I then worked at a Rehabilitation Center in a home with three ladies with disabilities, two of whom were in wheelchairs. I loved my job but my husband and I were blessed with a baby boy and I have the privilege of staying home with him. Times are tough and I'd love to help my husband but I just can't bring myself to leave my son.
