Hello, my name is Kayla. I am 20-years-old, I graduated from high school in 2010. I have a 3-year-old son and a 1 1/2 year-old daughter. I am a full time student, graduating in April from medical assistant. I do have most of my certifications, like CRP, first Aid, etc. I will have them all complete soon. I recently moved here from Georgia. Back in Georgia, I worked at a daycare for a year until I moved up here to be with my family. I was a teacher of 10 2-year-olds, so handling multiple kids is not a problem for me. I also was a substitute teacher while I was pregnant, and I worked with all ages up to 12-years-old. Older kids are fun to play with because they can do more and I love to play games, but I also love the babies and toddlers! I have one of both! I love working with kids with their cognitive and learning skills. My son has been speaking full sentences since he was 18-months-old. I love to read to children and interact with them. I am very easy to get along with, but I am firm when it comes to following rules. I've also babysat for a few friends. I feel table time for toddlers is very important. They need to learn their ABC's and numbers. Giving children at least one hour of table time everyday is very important. I have a lot of patience when it comes to working with children. I have always had love for children. I also know how to cook, and I am very clean and organized. I understand your day can be very busy and when you get home from work, cleaning is not something you look forward to doing. I have no problem helping out around the house. I believe in kids eating healthy instead of eating junk all day. Kids should also be very active. I love to play video games with the boys, but I also feel they need to be outside being active. Being healthy is very important. If you need a loving nanny or babysitter, I am the one you need to call. I love children!
