I've been baby-sitting for over five years. I was a summer nanny for a local family with three kids. I watched them 12 hours a day four days a week. My duties included cooking their three meals daily, playing with them, entertaining them, giving them daily lessons to help their education along, taking them to various summer activities and lessons (swimming lessons, camps, sports games etc.). Since starting college I've started a job for a domestic violence shelter in their daycare. I'm a child mentor, my duties there include playing with the kids, offering support, planning activities, and organizing. Since I work at this daycare I'm fully certified, I have CPR, First Aid, SIDS and Shaken Baby, and Child Transportation Safety training. I've always been passionate about working with children.
