Here's a little bit about me:

As of right now, I do not have a full time job. I'm hoping I can acquire one through nannying or babysitting. I graduated from Drew University up in Madison, New Jersey, with a double major in Studio Art and Middle Eastern Studies with a minor in Arabic. I was home-schooled my whole life, so I was used to being around the family. I have four younger sisters, so I'm pretty experienced with younger children. I have babysat neighbors, family, friends, and sometimes (as a last minute suggestion), would babysit for police families that my father knew. I've also done house sitting and pet sitting as well. My family owns three large dogs and three cats, plus chickens and ducks, so its safe to say I'm also an animal person!

I have worked as a substitute teacher as the YMCA Children's Center (I worked with newborns to first graders) in Madison, New Jersey for a semester. I loved ever moment of it.

I also love to cook and (this might sound strange) but I enjoy cleaning. My mom always made cleaning fun, even though it was a chore growing up. I'm a very organized person.

As for having any "care-giving philosophies", I'm not sure I have any. I essentially would treat any child with the same kinds of care my mother did. Not staying up too late, no bad words, not eat a lot of junk food after dinner, encourage playing with toys and using their imagination. Pretty simple things. I'll play any games, always dress up for fun, help them make costumes or art projects, or playing outside. I'm a kid at heart, and have no problem admitting it.
