The majority of my child care experience comes from assisting my parents with the care of foster children in their home over the past decade. I have assisted with meal preparation, bathing and dressing, playtime and activities, home schooling up to grade 6, as well as various outings and educational trips. I have also substituted as an aide in an early childhood classroom, and spent the last two summers working at a youth camp where I received First Aid and CPR training. I have experience working with children from birth all the way through high school. I have worked with children with various developmental delays and special needs. I am comfortable participating in various therapeutic activities and administering medications. I am currently the full time caretaker of my 1-year-old son and earning a Bachelor's degree with the goal of working in women's and family ministries.
