I am 25 years old and live in Peoria with my husband, our 7-month-old daughter, and our dog. I am looking to watch other children while caring for my little one. I grew up the second of six children. One of my siblings has Down Syndrome and another has ADD and several learning disabilities. I have worked as both a part-time and full-time child caregiver in past years. In my first job, I cared for 5 children, one of which was severely disabled. My responsibilities included changing diapers, preparing meals, cleaning around the house, doing dishes, taking the children to and from activities and of course entertaining the kids. My second job was taking care of two children over the summer. I prepared meals, took them swimming, to the park, to the library. All in all, we just had a good time. In my third position, I cared for two children. The older child had Down Syndrome and Autism. I took her to therapies, planned educational activities, prepared meals, helped encourage good bathroom and grooming behaviors. I love kids and I'm sure I would enjoy getting to know yours!!!
