For the past four years, I have been working with a family of three boys, ages 16, 11, and 9. When I started with them the youngest was five. Mainly I worked with them in the summers and randomly during the year when I would be home from school. In the summer, I would be with the boys from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. I would take care of keeping them occupied, getting outside, doing fun things around the area, lunch, and also I would help the parents with laundry and the dogs, really whatever they needed done I would do. Watching the boys is more than just a job for me. I truly care about the kids I spend my time with and develop strong relationships with them.
