I have spent a great amount of time working with kids, as well as working on an elementary education degree. Growing up, I was the oldest of five kids and very often cared for the younger children. Once out of high school, I began working for the YMCA after-school and summer camp programs. I quickly realized that I wanted to go into teaching and education. While working for the YMCA, I was quickly promoted to site coordinator and began doing the lesson plans and various activities for my particular program. I developed this passion for helping children and caring for them. I am certified in CPR/First Aid and Basic Water Rescue. I am relocating to the Seattle area in three weeks and I am looking for a baby-sitter or nanny position. While I have not had experience as a nanny, I have worked with children extensively, providing both childcare and structured activities for them. I also have experience baby-sitting children, from infant to 12 years old.
