My name is Katie and I am a 31-year-old mother of two. I specialize in overnight care and I also provide in-home child care on the west side of Cincinnati.

A little bit about me: I have been babysitting since I was 11. I was an afternoon helper for a family with triplets and 2 older brothers in high school. I became a nanny when I was 19. I was a nanny for all types of families, but usually they had at least four children. I was a nanny for another set of triplets, a family with 2 sets of twins, and 2 families in one house of 5 children under the age of 4! So, to say the least, I love being busy! Ha ha! I have also been an overnight nanny for many families. The main task at hand was to feed and handle multiple infants overnight, so parents could rest and sleep easily. I have not done overnight care since I stopped being a nanny and started in home childcare, when I had my daughter at the age of 26. I am now 31 and my daughter just turned 4 and I have a son who is 2.

I am very schedule oriented person. I believe schedules help children in everyday life. I believe schedules are a must have in families with multiples. Teaching families how to put and keep new infants on a schedule is a love of mine because I know this will help them out in the future. Having multiples makes your life very crazy, but putting them on a schedule makes life an organized crazy. I also teach manners at a very young age. I think they are very important and believe they should be used all the time. I also teach sign language to babies to help them communicate better and more efficiently. I love teaching children shapes, colors, animals and their noises, songs, and much more!
