My name is Kaytee and I'm a junior at Wright State University studying to become a high school level English teacher! I'm 22 years old, and have a lot of babysitting experience. I began babysitting when I was 12 years old. I have a sister who is 10 years younger than me, who I took care of quite a bit. My sister has bipolar disorder, ADD, and ADHD. I've been experienced my entire life working with special needs children. My mom helped special needs children in our house for 10 years, and I worked closely with them. In high school, I worked with a family of five with three children, one with severe cerebral palsy. I worked with them for a year and a half, until I graduated and moved to Dayton. During all four years of high school I volunteered as a peer tutor, helping struggling students at my school. It was so rewarding to help my peers, I wanted to go into education! Starting college at Wright State, I began working as a personal assistant for special needs students. My responsibilities included helping them shower, dress, brush their teeth, etc., to get ready for the day, and the same to get ready for bed. I worked doing this for the last three years! I'm comfortable with all ages of kids! Being with kids is a passion of mine, which is how I chose my future career. I'm able to work with any age group, with anything that you and your family could need! :)
