I am an 'almost' 50 year young grandmother. I keep our 18-month-old grandson in our home M-F. We are outside as much as possible with gardening, sandbox, walks, or playing ball in the yard. I even catch a few putting sessions while the baby practices putting Ts in the lawn. One day per week his other grandmother takes him as well.
I have raised 6 children to adulthood so I understand the different needs of activities for different ages.
Also, I am a sketch artist, mediocre pianist, love cooking and baking (rainy days), and would love someone to play catch with.
We have 3 dogs: a 9 year old long haired Dachshund, a 1 year old Golden Retriever, and a 6-month-old Weimaraner Lab. All are amazing with children and the 2 large dogs love to fetch.
If you are willing to entertain having your children in my home all or part of the time (during my grandson's nap), I would love the opportunity to talk further with you regarding their care for the summer.
I drive a late model 4 door, 6 passenger truck for very safe transport.
