Hi! My name is Kathleen and I am currently a freshman student at DePaul University, living in the neighborhood of Lincoln Park. I began babysitting around the age of 12 after taking a babysitting class and have been doing it ever since. I have babysat for 3 kids at one time, however, I am comfortable babysitting for 4. I have had experience with children between the ages of 2 and 12. In the past, I have worked for Pump It Up, the children's birthday party place for a year and half. In addition, during my junior and senior year, I was a private tutor for two children, ages 8 and 12. I have one dog at home, and am comfortable with caring for pets as well. While I do not have my own car, I am capable of transporting myself anywhere within the city via public transit. Throughout high school I was involved in a number of activities and had multiple leadership positions. I was on the dance team and was president of the National Honor Society chapter, while being a member of Student government, Best Buddies, and recycling club. I currently volunteer with the organization Refugee One serving as a one-on-one in home tutor for a refugee child in Chicago.
