Over the past 22 years, I have provided services intermittently for various families with differing needs. As a teen, I cared for children in my neighborhood, a beautiful area 40 minutes from the Atlantic shore. I love the water, especially the pool and beaches. The children I have cared for have ranged from newborns to young adolescents, including a position with a group home for emotionally-challenged adolescent girls after graduating from Salisbury State University in 1995. I worked for 10 years in Ocean Pines, MD, for a company that catered to tourists visiting the Maryland seashore. Under the guidance of owner and founder, I became one of the busiest and most respected caregivers working for her. She decided to retire the last year I worked for her and college took me in a different direction. Since graduating in 1995, my career path has included care-giving for children as much as canine and feline kids. I have always had very excellent responses from the families I worked for. Most recently, some members of the private club in which I worked suggested engaging in further work. I am very grateful that a very dear friend of mine encouraged me to apply here.
