I'm fluently bi-lingual with Spanish and I've been taking care of children since I was nine. I would wake up, dress up, brush their hair, feed them, and wait for their bus. As babies I would sing them a lullaby to fall asleep and regularly on time give them their bottle and change their diaper. Whenever I went outside with them I had the bag ready with the baby's or toddler's needs. I love to encourage kids, from learning how to walk to solving a math problem. I have three siblings and a dog that I used to take care of daily; my siblings are now 10, six, and two. I also volunteered 50 hours as part of the National Junior Honor Society in a Montessori School as a teacher assistant. There I interacted with at least 30 kindergartners and felt like I was one of them. I recently got married in 2009 and my husband and I have moved from Virginia to Howard County in Maryland. We have no kids yet but I know that with my experience I will definitely be ready for them.
