I have lots of experience working with kids. Most recently, I worked with an amazing little guy. He's 19 months old and was just a joy to spend everyday with. I was with him from 3 - 19 months, full time. His family moved which is why I'm looking for a new family to join. Ill still be in his life, though! I'm a firm believer in a lot of love but consistent guidance too. Every moment is a learning experience! We're out a lot, seeing the world, learning and growing; gyms, parks, play dates, museums- lets go do it!
This is not the first experience I've had with kids. Not only did I teach preschool and prek for 2 summers in college, but being the youngest kid in the family meant I grew up as the babysitter for my nieces, nephews, and 2nd cousins.
I love kids and I love teaching them! My long term goal is to create community programs for kids and their families. I believe a nanny's role is to make everyday a great day for your kid!
Personally, I'm 32 and have 2 bachelors degrees. I'm originally from Detroit and moved here 2 years ago. When I'm not working with kids I am interested in all things art and music. I'm also a big outdoors and sports fan. Also, I am a fantastic cook!
