I was a nanny for a family in Tuscaloosa, AL while I was in college. I would wake the three children (8, 6, 4) up in the morning before school, get them prepared for school and cook breakfast. I would then transport the students to and from school and would also help the students with their homework and snack time after school. I just graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Collaborative Special Education K-12. I have worked with children a variety of ages with and without disabilities. I am going to graduate school to continue my education in special education at LSU in Fall 2012. I have a strong passion for working with all children and love to help others. I enjoy working with all different ages and types of children. I have a lot of patience and compassion when it comes to being around children. Throughout my college career, I completed 900+ hours in various classrooms within 9 different schools in Tuscaloosa, so I have a good bit of experience. I have also babysat for a child with special needs that had seizures. I am a punctual, responsible and caring person and truly love being surrounded by children.
