I worked for two families providing after school care as well as during the summer. I assisted with homework, provided the children with snacks and meals, entertained them by doing activities at home and taking them around the city to do various things, and kept the house tidy. I watched up to 8 children at a time ages 1 1/2 to 13. After they did not need me to work for them anymore, I worked at a gym in the child care center. Here, I watched children ages 8 months to 6 years. I provided them with entertainment and played with them during the time they were in my care. Now, I work for a party planner. We do childrens birthday parties for children of all ages. I assist in setting up for the party, helping during the party with entertaining the children and loading everything back up at the end. I have always loved kids and working with them is my passion. In fact, I plan on becoming an art teacher so I can work with kids.
