Lead Pre-K teaching has brought so much to my heart, beyond teaching manners, conflict resolution, and compassion. Hands-on activities have been my focus. From Science "Life Cycles" raising two types of tadpoles, we also raised Praying Mantis which hatched from their case, with feeding and nurturing until they were as big as a child's hand. We grew seeds from Butterfly World, and later watched monarch caterpillars grow through chrysalis to beautiful butterflies. I have documented so many "Hands-On Activities" I initiated in photos of my class. We learned to breed crickets (soothing sounds). For Early Literacy, activities with letters forming words. I began to make felt board story pieces to make story time come alive with Children's Enthusiastic Participation. With math, I even incorporated it into cooking lessons. There is so much I can do beyond JUST a Nanny to encourage appreciation of learning. I have babysat since I was 10 years old after school. I have been a nanny prior to teaching, and have so many wonderful parent references letters. Additionally, I am a fingerprinted teacher in Palm Beach County, a House Sitter, and a Pet Sitter.
