Children are my passion! I've worked as a babysitter since the age of 14, just little jobs here and there. I started with one of my moms clients just a one day sitter ordeal, but from there on, until I graduated high school, kids are all I've ever worked for. I became a full time nanny the minute I graduated high school. I've worked for families up to 3 children from cases of autism to newborn babies up to the age of 8. My family and I are Mormon, so I do attend church on Sunday. I have been a Sunday school teacher for kids ages 5 to 6 for about 2 years, but currently was asked to serve in something called the Young Women's Program (ages 12 to 18). In the past, the most common age I've worked with ranged from 3 to 6. But I do have experience with infants as well as older children. If I had to choose a certain age group that I would favor, I would have to say toddlers, because at that age they are extremely enjoyable. They need to explore and learn new things. I truly enjoy my experiences with them from potty training to just being so lovable at first sight. I would have to say toddles are a joy to learn from as well as to teach. I enjoy babysitting because it's an endless learning experience. It is a job that definitely keeps you on your toes, never a dull moment involved. I love the energy and attention that children crave. I just could never picture myself going to a job when I'm watching the clock tick continuously. Children are just such a joy to be around I truly enjoy them.
