I come from a very large family and have been taking care of kids for as long as I can remember! I worked in a private childcare center as a teacher's assistant from the ages of 19 to 21. The children's ages ranged from 0-5. Upon receiving my CDA in both preschool and toddler/infant care, I became a lead teacher in the toddler room of a corporate childcare facility until the Fall of 2011 when I became a nanny for a family from that facility. I am also CPR certified and have had several background checks. I love working with children; it's my life's passion! I am a firm believer in mixing academic activities with opportunities to play and explore as well. However, I am also very flexible and with respect to what you feel your child needs to be learning. I am much more experienced with younger children (ages 0-4), but I am also willing to help in any way I can with older kids (especially for babysitting purposes).
