I have recent experience caring for children of all ages. From the time I was a small child, I cared for my younger brother as if he were my own. Now, he is grown and has a child of his own for whom I have also been a caregiver. I have babysat and nannied newborns up to age 12 over the past 10 years. In addition to babysitting, I have babysat and tutored children ages 9 to 13 in the last three years. Just recently, I nannied an infant while in Galapagos Islands for three months, who was only 2 months old when I arrived. All of my references will tell you great things about the experiences their children have had with me. I have always been amazed with the developmental processes of children. I believe that any child who knows that they are truly loved and cared for will do better in life and that children have a great understanding of who cares for them and who doesn't; it is not just who TELLS them they care - it's who shows it. I love children and will never stop wanting to increase the happiness and healthiness in every child's life I encounter.
