I am a recent graduate from Asbury University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I am the oldest of five in a multicultural adoptive family. I began babysitting and tutoring at the age of 10. This is where my passion for helping children was born. At the age of 15, I became a nanny for family with three girls ages 6, 4, and 1. I was a nanny for this family for three summers. I have also worked at two different camps. While there I primarily worked with girls ages 9 to 11. I have also worked at the YMCA's camp. I have worked for this day camp for three consecutive summers and have recently begun working for them again this summer. This day camp has allowed me to take on different leadership positions and work with children ages 6 to 9. Being an elementary education major, I have also had the experience of teaching a variety of children. I have taught in kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and fourth grade. I have also worked individually with special education and ELL students. I love working with kids and can not imagine myself working in a field without children.
