Although I am a trained corporate manager and leader, my supervisory skills are rooted in my long-term experience caring for children, going back to the early days of YMCA leadership training and daily "nanny" work throughout summer as a teen, all the way until present day where it is time spent laughing and discovering the world through the eyes of my nieces and nephews that I cherish most. Patience, honesty, and follow-through have been the name of the game. Care-giving is improved by my enthusiasm for outdoor sports, team athletics, and international cultural awareness.

My current job, as Department Manager for Harvard Medical School's Mount Auburn Hospital's department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Newborn Services, I take more seriously my responsibility to the parents and siblings in our childbirth education program. I truly enjoy getting to know people and helping them in whatever way they need. As a person of strong moral character with an upbringing that emphasized honesty, compassion, and family values, I hope to deliver excellent care with acute awareness of my client's needs. A calming, disciplined attitude can be helpful when dealing with sensitive matters.
