I have been caring for children for several years now and enjoy spending time with them and sharing in the joy of their accomplishments. Each child is unique and I love being able to care for and spend quality time with them. I myself grew up in a family of 7 children and am very passionate about children.
I have experience working with groups of children and was a nanny for a family of 6 for nearly a year. I enjoyed teaching things in a new and creative way that was fun for everyone.
I have also had the privilege of working with special needs children and adults! I believe that these people are very special and deserve massive amounts of love and attention. I also have experience working with young children as well as adults who have different forms of epilepsy and am able to handle situations as they arise calmly and in a orderly fashion.
I also have experience as a School Bus driver for 12 months. I enjoyed connecting with the children and interacting with them on a daily basis. I am a college student at Daytona State and am going for Physical Therapy assistant.
I am also very involved in my church and their children programs. I have been a volunteer in the annual VBS productions for the last 4 years. I also volunteer in the church nursery caring for newborns and young infants.
I am also a very strong swimmer and able to supervise children in water safely
I have played an active role in the potty training process not only with my siblings but also with my other young charges. I am also able to help with any homework or other activities such as speech therapy your children may need.
I am very easy to get along with and hope to be an asset to whatever family I may work with. I am willing to work with different learning methods and abide by all parent rules.
