I am an active and optimistic mom of a wonderful 14-year-old boy, so lots of good experience there! :) I'm looking to find work that will work well with my son's schedule and my freelance media production projects. I have flexibility with freelance projects and would be able to commit to caring for your child(ren) between the hours of 8 a.m. -5 p.m. Sometimes later on Mondays and Fridays.

I worked with an agency part-time 2010-12. I had a wonderful family in Lake Bluff with 2 kids (2 and 6) that I worked with often during that time. Also in Evanston, an adorable 6-month-old baby boy and twin toddlers in Highland Park.

I've taken care of a bright 2-year-old boy in Glenview over the last year. The family's schedule has changed, so I'm watching him on occasion now, 1 day/week for 3-4 hours and some Friday evenings. I'm looking to find a couple more families to work with now.

I live in the Wilmette/Kenilworth area. I'm open to working families from Wilmette to Lake Bluff, also the Near East Side/Millenium Park area. I do have a car and am comfortable driving your kids to and from activities (if using my car it would just be $. 55/mile).

I've always loved kids and started babysitting when I was 12 years old. I enjoy creating good memories and have done that with my son and his friends as well as all the kids I've taken care of over the years. My friends referred to our home as CAMP Karyn! :) My goal is to make sure they're safe while having a fun time together!

As a mom, I know it's important to make sure you feel comfortable with the person taking care of your child(ren). I'd be glad to set-up a time to meet you and your family! :)
