I graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in theater. While at Western, I participated in the Multi-Cultural Outreach Tour, a children's theater show that toured elementary schools in the Whatcom and Skagit County areas. From my education, I learned lots of theater games for children and have been trained in music and singing. I have also worked with kids on other shows such as Evita, The Sound of Music and Classical, both on and offstage. In addition, I baby-sat for the kids in my neighborhood on a regular basis while in high school. While in high school I got certified in CPR and will be renewing my certification at the end of this month.

I believe my past experiences make me qualified for this position, but I also believe I am qualified because I love working with children. I love the energy, optimism, and curiosity of children and believe I could help nurture that. I have an upbeat and positive attitude, but at the same time will follow any rules and guidelines that parents provide.
