My very first job was in my mother's daycare caring for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 6 years old. I assisted in many educational activities that children from each age group were able to participate in. We also had creative activities that enabled the children to bring out their imaginative sides. I also worked at a PAL after school when I was in high school. The children there ranged from ages 6-13 years old. I helped the children with homework and then assisted in fun activities for them. We made up games, played sports, and even danced. I am the go-to person whenever someone I know needs a babysitter. My most recent babysitting experience was with an infant. I started babysitting her when she was 6 weeks old until she was 7 months, and on and off after that. She just turned 1-year-old and she is super smart and has been walking since she was 8 months! (I like to think I had something to do with that). I work well with babies and children of all ages.
