This feedback left by the other family was very helpful indeed! We cannot expose our kids to such callous behavior and need a safe trusting environment. Thanks! I had a similar experience with another caretaker who quit within a month without any explanation. We can only speculate the daily responsibility did not suit her, even though it was explained upfront. I haven't posted any comments to this day wondering if the caretakers also have access to the feedback.

Karen Z. Was hired by our family after two interviews and expressing great interest in our two boys who just turned 4. We provided a agreement for her to sign outlining her responsibilities which she did. One provision of the agreement was that if either party decided to break the agreement they would give the other 3 weeks notice. After working for us for a total of 5 days two full time and three part-time she went on "vacation". On the day she was to return from vacation she sends a text at 6:15 in the morning saying that she is too tired to work. The following day - which was to be her first full time day - she leaves us an email message at 7:15 a.m. on Care.com stating "I will not be working for you I am very sorry I am a good person but I think this is not a good fit for me thanks again you guys are a great family". This was an extremely disappointing situation - to experience someone who is a parent herself operate with such a lack of integrity, not only to the parents who she signed a work agreement with, but most importantly with innocent, trusting children who had started to build a relationship with her. We hope if she continues in this field that depends on reliability and trust, that she will operate in a more mature, professional manner.
