My name is Karen and my house is a place where children come to have fun, to learn and to be appreciated. My home is located in Mount Prospect, IL

My home is a smoke-free environment and is equipped with smoke detectors; carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, electrical safety plugs and all dangerous/hazardous materials are out of reach. I am trained in first -aid and CPR. In my daycare we find ourselves busy playing, reading books, and listening to music as well as dancing. I am a certified teacher and believe in teaching creative games to enhance a child's ability to learn letters and numbers.

As your Daycare provider I believe that it is a significant choice to the kind of enrichment he or she gets during one of the most important periods in their early development. I am a family- oriented person, and I know the importance of family through my own personal experiences as well as professionally.

When it comes to age, I am very comfortable working with all age groups from infancy to adolescence. In my work, I have watched children from 3- months to 12- years- old. I can work with any child that has certain dietary needs or restrictions.

My philosophy is that each child is entitled to a healthy, safe, developmentally appropriate environment in which to grow and thrive. Children learn best by doing, and it is my firm belief that a creative, hands-on, play-based childcare environment brings out the best in children.

I'd be honored to be your daycare provider! I am looking to work with a family long term. A family I can build and grow a strong and close relationship.
