Karen watched my 17 month old son while my husband and I were in town for Thanksgiving. She was willing to meet me before I hired her so I could interview her in person (since I was coming in from out-of-town). She was very organized and punctual and put me at ease with her friendly demeanor and great references. It's important for me to note that while Karen met my son that day, she was sitting for him after I put him to bed, in our hotel room. Thankfully he did not awake while we were out, but had he, I had faith that Karen would have been able to manage the situation just fine. She had clearly thought things out and asked all the right questions about what to do if he did wake up. She was also very quiet and respectful of our space. I would recommend Karen and would be happy to speak with anyone on the phone about specific questions.

Karen is currently providing childcare for my 8 year old, home schooled daughter and I couldn't have wished for a better caregiver. Karen is patient, organized, friendly and more. My daughter has consistently expressed how much she likes Karen and she's very comfortable being with her. Karen has blessed my daughter & I tremendously. She thinks of things that I haven't thought of which brings an ease to me as a parent. I know that I can rest assured when my daughter is in her care. I'm absolutely appreciative of what Karen does for us and thankful to Care.com for helping us to meet our child care needs.

Karen was well organized for the first initial meeting before providing service. I was very pleased and satisfied with the level of business casual personality Karen had. When the time of service Karen was ready and had prepared the day for my 7-year old daughter. My daughter felt very comfortable being with Karen and enjoyed the time in the park nearby.
