I am a fun-loving, patient, caring, and compassionate mother of a teenage son. I began working with children part-time from infants to pre-teens as a freshman in high-school, and three years part-time while attending college. On some weekends, I would babysit for parents of children so that the parents could have a free date-night for themselves. In addition, I have kept my nieces over past summers. We enjoyed activities such as riding our bikes, swimming, bowling, baking cookies, and just walking around in the neighborhood. Occasionally I will watch my two and one-half year old great nephew while his mother works and attends school. I love children because they bring joy, excitement, challenges, lots of love, and their own individual personalities.
