I have a BA college degree in Early Childhood Education and taught Kindergarten for 7 years in Christian schools in Iowa, California, and Indiana. I home educated my children for several years. During some of this time, and after homeschooling, I also provided home childcare. I currently have 4 1/2 years of experience working with 1-3-year-old children at my church's Mom's Day Out/Preschool program. Caring for babies, toddlers, and children is the love and passion of my life! I am currently CPR and First Aid certified. I have been providing very nurturing care to children for many years and love on them as if they were my very own. I would be very happy to provide you with references.
I would prefer to return to childcare in my home. I would be willing to go to someone else's home part of the time. I am looking for full time employment but am willing to do part time childcare as well.
I have everything needed for childcare at my home--crib, highchair, toys, storybooks, etc. I love music and play the piano and guitar. I do a lot of singing with children.
Other than music, my personal interests are scrapbooking, reading, and cooking. I enjoy hosting guests at our home. I am married and have a son in college and daughter in high school.
