Hello,

I have been a caregiver for children in some form or another, for most of my life. At the age of 18, I was a certified substitute teacher. I received my Bachelor and Masters Degree in Education. My 15 year teaching career began in special education, working with a range of children that were diagnosed with disorders such as autism, emotionally handicapped, speech disorders, physical disabilities, and severe learning disorders. My experience began in the elementary age level and moved to the middle school age children as a reading teacher. The majority of my experience is with teaching and tutoring (reading & writing) students.

I have completed a variety of job positions on this site, Care. com. I have provided services of respite care for special needs or elderly individuals, nanny positions, babysitting, pet care, and as a personal assistant completing errands and household duties.

I am certified in CPR and first aid (infants to adults), and have a dependable means of transportation. I also love animals and have two wonderful dogs of my own. I can do light housekeeping, cooking and preparation, laundry, and assist with daily routines (bathing, homework, dinner). I love to be creative and I am a very active person. I currently volunteer at a marine aquarium and love to be a part of an organization that helps to better our community by rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing of marine animals in our Bay Area.

Family and friends are very important to me and I love to work on art projects or to spend time with my dogs. As my career continues to blossom, I am open for opportunities that would be beneficial for myself and your family. I tend to think out of the box and maintain a positive attitude with the road my life leads down.
