I've cared for children on and off since my teenage years, after completing the babysitting course provided by the town of East Lyme, at age 13. In high school, I volunteered at Niantic Center School, with the permission of the principal, making arts and crafts with the Morning Glories children. Over the years I have cared for neighbors, referred families, etc., and also worked as a full time nanny for a family with children the ages of 3, 4, and 8. I am comfortable with completing light house keeping tasks and cooking meals. I'm attentive, creative, caring, and friendly, but won't allow children to take advantage. I believe following the rules and guidelines set forth by parents is just as important as establishing a friendship with the kids!
