I have nannied for a family with three boys, whose ages were 6 weeks, 3 and 4 years when I began. I worked for the family as a full-time nanny for one year until the grandmother came to live permanently in the home and care for the children. I then became a babysitter on an as-needed basis. I have been babysitting for various families with children aged newborn to 12 years old since the age of 15, and have also helped my sisters care for their children when needed. This includes experience with newborn twins. I greatly enjoy caring for children and engaging them in activities that help them learn and grow. As a nanny/babysitter I enjoy taking the children to the park, on walks or bike rides (if age allows), and also creating new craft projects. I am patient and am more than willing to help older children with homework when necessary.

I am a certified USA swim coach for age-group swimmers, which means I am CPR certified. I have a bachelors degree in Communication with a minor in Gender Studies; I've spent the past 22 months working as a Marketing Coordinator and coaching in the evenings, and have decided that the corporate world is not for me. I want to re-enter the world of nannying/babysitting full-time instead of just on evenings or weekends. I come from a family of six children and have 11 nieces and nephews ranging in age from 24 years to 1 year. I have spent my life around children and enjoy caring for them, helping them grow, and watching them enjoy life.
