I am a college student going to school to be an elementary school teacher. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I have over a dozen younger cousins whom I have spent lots of time with from the time they were born. I spend a lot of time in my community's elementary school working with children. My summer job also involves spending a lot of time with children. During the 2012/2013 school year I was the Site Director in an elementary school. This job gave me experience in planning, organizing, and running activities for children ages 4 to 13 of all different abilities, many with special needs. Between that job, continuing education at University of Southern Maine, and 10 years of babysitting experience I am comfortable with children of all ages and all abilities and disabilities. I have an immaculate driving record and love being given the responsibility to take kids to do fun things such as nature walks and playgrounds as well as sports and other activities.
