Hi there! My name is Kaitlynn and I have a laundry list of experience. Not only have I babysat for 10 years but I have worked in a child care center setting for 7 years and was also a nanny for 1 year. I've been through it all. From diaper changing, potty training, and temper tantrums, to making myself look a little silly playing make believe and dress-up. I have worked with all children raging in ages from newborn on up to 12 years old.

Since most of my experience is in a child care center setting, I am use to having a classroom full of children. I have had from 4 infants to myself to 12 school-agers to myself. During this time, I was granted the opportunity to worked with children with special needs. I hold these children, as with all children, close to my heart but understand that they want to be treated just like everyone else. While working in the center, my duties varied between each classroom, but included bottle feeding, changing diapers, potty training, preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean, safe and fun environment, and creating lesson plans.

Prior to working in child care centers, I was a nanny and I babysat. During this time, I enjoyed planning outings for the children and I to go on. We went anywhere from library group time to nature walks, the zoo and Impression 5. Some of my responsibilities included: driving the children to and from school, helping with school work, planning fun and educational outings, meal preparation, and house work.

I love working with children and sometimes have a hard time imagining myself doing anything else. I find it exceptionally rewarding watching and being part of childrens learning. Any chance to play a game or even splash in a puddle outside is a learning experience for them and so much fun. I love being creative and crafty. I also enjoy finding fun activities that allow children to develop and learn.
