I am working toward my Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. I offer personal experience and an educational background. I have 5 years experience working as a nanny and 2 years of being an assistant. I love working with children and what working with children offers me. I offer a positive and respectful working environment. I believe in manners and positive reinforcement. I am CPR and First Aid certified and comfortable around the pool as I was a lifeguard for 4 years. I am able to multi-task while not taking away time from the kids. I have worked with children as young as 6 months and as old as 14 years old. I am able to schedule play-dates, do grocery shopping, take kids to activities, and run anything errands that would help take the stress off. If you work at home or go to the office, I can keep the kids busy with educational activities, going to the park, baking a special treat, and have story time. I can help with homework and school projects and participate in classroom. I can plan and cook healthy meals, do laundry, and help keep the kids rooms organized. I don 't mind pets and am able to travel. I have experience traveling with families for long periods of time. Being a nanny to me means keeping an open mind and encouraging children to learn new things every day without fear of failure. I truly love being around children and seeing their innocence.
