My experience caring for children goes way back to when my little brother and sister were born. My mom was always the "Kool-Aide" lady, kids from all over the neighborhood would be over all the time. She watched a numerous amount of kids at our house over the years. Along with my immediate family, I had so called aunts and uncles with children that once I was taught how to change a diaper, and give a baby a bottle I was the batter up for baby sitting. I have a longing desire to become a Early Childhood teacher for mentally disabled children. My passion for kids, and having a lasting impression on them for years is what drives me within. I have been baby-sitting for roughly seven years, but on my own without the "Kool-Aide" lady I would say seven years. I would be more than honored to be considered to watch, play, teach and learn from your children. To add to my experience I now have my own son who is 6 months old.
